This funny running shirt shows the difference between perception and reality when running.  I’d like to expand on this one just a bit by saying that in my mind I’m Kenyan for the first 6 miles,  then I’m a whimpering baby.  I would normally recommend shirts on this site as good gift ideas, but in this case, you might want to avoid going that route.
